METER-X: A 5G-Enabled Plug-In Power Metering Device for Construction Machinery
We are thrilled to introduce METER-X, a 5G-capable plug-in power meter that has been specially developed for outdoor use, for example on construction sites. METER-X enhances operational efficiency by providing real-time power consumption data, enabling precise monitoring and optimization of construction equipment. This cutting-edge device demonstrates how 5G technology can contribute to smarter and more sustainable building practices.
The device and the conducted test are researched in collaboration with the Institute for Automation of Complex Power Systems of the RWTH Aachen University and the Center Construction Robotics.
