Environment Detection in Kerpen

Within the “Pilot project for a research and training center for construction processes and construction machinery (im Rheinischen Revier)”, researchers of the chair of Individualized Production in Architecture offered a workshop on the automization and digitization for construction sites. Students from the training center Kerpen of the Bauindustrie NRW were given insights on current research topics regarding digital environment detection and possible applications therefore related to construction. In the following, the students’ feedback on these topics from the background of professional training has been discussed and recorded in an evaluation, which focused on the application of new technologies.
